LVP and vinyl plank are the most popular flooring upgrade in Central Indiana — waterproof, scratch-resistant, and cost-effective. But the install determines whether it lasts 20 years or pops up in two.

LVP Install (whole first floor)
$3.00–$5.50/sq ft depending on layout complexity. $3,800–$8,500 typical.
Stair Nosing Install
$45–$85 per stair — most staircases $650–$1,200 for full rebuild.
Quarter-Round / Shoe Molding
$3.50–$5.00/linear ft. Most rooms $150–$275.
$150 minimum + materials. Flooring material is separate. Bring your own or we source at cost (no markup).

Best flooring for older homes?
For 1920s–1960s homes, LVP is often the best choice — it handles subfloor imperfections better than hardwood-click systems and it's waterproof. For historic character, engineered hardwood click-lock is the next best.
How long does LVP install take?
Typical whole-first-floor install (1,000–1,500 sq ft): 2–3 working days. Single-room (under 300 sq ft): 4–6 hours.
